I had been having problems with my hips for a while, which seemed to be getting worse. I went to see Claire and after an hour with her I got into my car with ease, previously it had been a bit of a struggle. She gave me exercises to do at home and arranged a follow up appointment. ‘We took our baby to see Claire at the Osteopathic Centre for Children because of difficulties related to a tongue tie, which was affecting feeding and causing a lot of stress for both our baby and us as parents. From the moment we arrived, the osteopath was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. She took the time to really listen to our concerns and made us feel supported during what had been quite an emotional and challenging time.

The treatment itself was extremely gentle and respectful of our baby. Everything was explained clearly, which helped us feel reassured and confident in the process. It was amazing to see how carefully and thoughtfully our baby was treated.

Our baby was diagnosed with tongue tie at the hospital and was scheduled in for a surgical tongue release. After a few sessions with the Osteopath, it became evident our baby had tension under his jaw, once this tension was released, we noticed our baby seemed much more relaxed, less gassy and feeding gradually became easier. Our visit to the tongue tie clinic later confirmed that surgical tongue release was not required any longer. This was an amazing and successful result, where we saw huge difference in our baby’s mood and wellbeing as a whole.

We were also given very helpful advice on how to support our baby at home.

We are so grateful for the care, compassion, and expertise we received. It truly made a difference for our baby and for us as parents during a difficult period, and we would wholeheartedly recommend pediatric osteopathy to any family dealing with similar challenges.’
